Our local real estate market was featured in a recent USA Today article. “In recent years, Rochester, Minn., has been sheltered from the housing crisis.” said reporter Christina Dugas. She pointed to a drop in local foreclosures and a spike in sales in February.
A spokesman for the National Realtors Association commented, “You (Rochester) are one of a relative handful of areas – roughly 20% – seeing gains currently. This shows everyone the stability of your market.”
